Someone mentioned family service to me recently and I have not been able to get it out of my head. There are so many ways families can serve together, regardless of the skills or ages of the individuals. My kids are altar servers and my oldest just became a cross bearer, but we take them with us for other service both within and outside of the church. The spring clean-up is a great example of how everyone could participate—moving rocks and weeding or planting flowers may not be everyone’s thing, but tasks like handing out water and snacks and being a gopher engaged some of the more restless kids. How does your family serve?
