Organizing the little details of life gets harder every year, I think. This academic year we have to keep track of A/B days for our oldest, but our youngest has ABCDE days that indicate rotating encores (PE, Music, etc.). A/B hasn’t been bad to keep track of, until she was sick and missed some school, but the ABCDE days… So we have both schedules posted by the front door and I color-coded the days to help us know, at a glance, if the library books have to go back today. I also have lunch menus posted there and each child has a checklist that they are supposed to go through every morning to be sure they haven’t forgotten anything. (we started the checklists in fall 2020 and the glamour has worn off, but they still save us sometimes!) What do you do to help structure and organize all the things?
